The termination letter for a rental lease

You can use this letter template to terminate a rental agreement (lease for an unfurnished or furnished rental) that is currently in effect.

[Dear Sir/Madam],

I will shortly be vacating the furnished apartment of which I am a tenant.
Article 25-8 of the law of 6 July 1989 on the improvement of rental relations states:
"The tenant may terminate the agreement at any time, subject to one month's notice,
including where the duration of the lease is reduced to nine months."
This provision therefore applies to my situation, even if certain clauses in the agreement differ.
The notice will take effect 1 month after the date of delivery of this letter.
In order to agree on a date to hand over the keys to the property and carry out the move-in inspection together,
I would like to inform you that my move-out is planned for [Moving date].
